Spicy, Creamy Lemon Chicken

Today, I didn’t eat all morning, then was starving and made a large but quick afternoon lunch. Here it is for your visual enjoyment:

I made this chicken spontaneously, but it turned out so good that I decided to share it with you guys. Here goes.

  • fresh chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup single cream
  • 3 teaspoons Cajun spices
  • 1 teaspoon chilli
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt and black pepper

  1. Squeeze the lemon juice onto the chicken, and rub it with the Cajun spices and chilli.
  2. Heat some some olive oil, and slightly fry the chicken on both sides, just to seal it.
  3. Add the cream and leave to simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.

I ate my chicken with chips and a side salad. The salad consisted of iceberg lettuce, dolmades (rice-stuffed vine leaves), garlic feta cheese, onions and tomatoes. Delish.
